Is Nothing Sacred? Michael Bay To Reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Michael Bay is continuing his diabolical plan to cut a swath through the childhood memories of anyone born in the mid-to-late 80’s, according to this article from Deadline New York.  After botching the live-action adaptation of Transformers, he’s set his sights on another relic: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Sure, the Turtles have already been on the big screen in that hammy 1990 adaptation, but that movie (and especially the sequels) was a paragon of unintentional comedy.  2007 also gave us a CGI version of TMNT, which no one saw.  So of course, with multiple movies, video games, television shows, comic books, novels and what have you featuring some incarnation of these guys, Michael Bay decides to add his voice to the fray.  Let’s hope Shia LaBeouf steers clear.
